Week 10: Day 2
Roxanne
Kent and Jodi have moved to the next litter by Tamerlein. Roxanne will be available when she gets her health clearances. If interested, please call. I expect she will be available in one to two months.
Roxanne is a total sweetheart. She looks stunning and that is not even her best part--her personality is so amazing. She absolutely loves people and makes it impossible not to love her back. She is still waiting for her health clearances and is not available (Kent and Jodi have first rights to her).
Roxanne: 16 lb 9 oz. (+ 3 lb 15 oz.)
Week 8: Day 3
We have 3 puppies that are awaiting either pickup or scheduled delivery. This is the last set of pictures for Anna and Kevin. I will post another set of pictures for Roxanne in two weeks. She will hopefully be cleared to go to her new home by the end of the month. All three puppies are continuing to gain a good amount of weight and are growing as expected. The puppies are very active so that most every time they were put down by my son they were headed straight for me as quickly as they could. Hope you enjoy the action pictures.
Anna: 11 lb 6 oz. (+ 1 lb 15 oz.)
Kevin: 12 lb 7 oz. (+ 2 lb 11 oz.)
Roxanne: 12 lb 10 oz. (+ 2 lb 10 oz.)
Kevin: 12 lb 7 oz. (+ 2 lb 11 oz.)
Roxanne: 12 lb 10 oz. (+ 2 lb 10 oz.)
Anna
Anna is becoming more and more of a sweetheart. She is active but loves her time with us.
Kevin
Kevin is looking cuter and cuter as she grows into her fur. She is also the most relaxed puppy we have still here.
Roxanne
Roxanne is growing more beautiful each day. She continues to be incredibly friendly. She loves her humans.
Week 7: Day 3
This is the last post for the full litter--most of the puppies will be going to their new homes Friday and Saturday. The puppies have been getting to go outside everyday this week and are totally loving it. They are full speed ahead outside and when they come in they crash. It is so fun to see them excited. On Wednesday, they will get their puppy wellness visit. This is an exciting and sad time for us. They are such a fun group of puppies but it is wonderful to know that they are going to homes where they will be adored.

Our Boy Puppies
Doug
Doug continues to be a ball of fun but he is more mellow and wants more attention now. He is our biggest puppy and should be a beauty.
Megamind
Megamind continues to be our most relaxed puppy. He is totally friendly and loves being held and petted.
Mr. Incredible
Mr. Incredible is our well rounded puppy. He continues to be active and friendly.
Russell
Russell is our friendliest boy (with Megamind) but he is very playful now. He is very cute and photogenic. He is very responsive to training.
Our Girl Puppies
Anna
Anna gained a lot of weight this week and though she is still playful, I think she is a little more relaxed. She is still a total cutie who seems to love having her picture taken.
Elastogirl
Elastogirl is our biggest girl with a very nice, well-rounded personality. She has a great build and should grow into a gorgeous dog.
Elsa
Elsa is our most playful girl now who loves to be with people and play with them. She is a total cutie too (with Anna).
Kevin
Kevin has a well rounded personality. She can be very relaxed and enjoy petting and then go play hard with her siblings. She has a gorgeous coat.
Roxanne
Roxanne is very friendly but loves to playful with her friends. She has a light coloration that gives her face beautiful outlines.
Week 6: Day 4
This has been a big week for the puppies and for us. The puppies all have new homes now--they just have another week and a few days before they get to go to them. They had their first round of vaccinations, began crate training, and have been able to get outdoors for longer periods. The biggest change is their activity level--especially when they first get outside. They used to stay within about 30 feet of where I would put them. Now there will be groups of 3, 4, or 5 puppies all over the yard. One day, they were all enjoying the shade of a kids pool that has a hole in it for them to get under. It was so fun seeing them explore, romp and love their new freedom. Crate training has had a successful first few days with no accidents even on their first night. When I let them out, they eliminated and then began eating. This looks like a good group for potty training. They are very quick at picking up routines and understanding how things will work.

Here are the personality test results for the puppies. They did really well for their training. Several of the puppies actually went to the paper and retrieved it to me. That does not normally happen at this early age.

Week 5: Day 4
The puppies have definitely won our hearts this week. They all love being held. Throughout the day, my son and I take turns holding and petting all of the puppies. Earlier, they are mostly sleepy and enjoy being held as an extra. Now, they are active and choose to be petted. They are so sweet when they go from my son to me, just to be held. They will show their affection by licking.
They are all growing well and continue to progress very evenly. This week, we begin to expose them to more stimuli. We take them through all of the testing procedures that they will get later this week. It gives them more experiences and us more opportunity to identify their characteristics.

Our Boy Puppies
Doug
Doug is our most active and independent puppy. He loves to explore and play fight with the other puppies. He is friendly and likes to be petted.
Megamind
Megamind is relaxed most of the time. He will play fight occasionally. He is happy sitting in our laps. He had a big growth week and is now tied with Mr. Incredible for largest puppy.
Mr. Incredible
Adopted by Ryan & Emily W.
Mr. Incredible is active and explorative. He is friendly and enjoys time with us. He continues to have a very balanced personality and is tied for the largest puppy with Megamind.
Russell
Adopted by Josh & Maura G.
Russell is our most friendly puppy. He loves to be with us and lick us. He loves being held and spending time with us. He occasionally will go exploring. He was hard to get pictures of because he was moving at full speed to me.
Our Girl Puppies
Anna
Anna is relaxed and friendly. She is still active and likes to playfight but she enjoys her time with us more now. With Elsa, she is our smallest puppy.
Elastogirl
Elastogirl is becoming more active. She still loves her time with us. She is our largest girl.
Elsa
Elsa is very active--almost as active as Doug. She likes to play but still enjoys being held and petted. She is our smallest puppy with Anna.
Kevin
Kevin is very active--like Doug. She likes to play fight with the other puppies and explore. Her fur looks to have a bit more wave to it than the others from this litter.
Roxanne Ritchie
Roxanne is our friendliest girl (and maybe friendliest overall) puppy. She absolutely loves being with us and being held and petted. She was the hardest puppy to get pictures of because she was always running at full speed toward me. I will try to update the two blurry pictures later today.
Week 5: Day 1
The puppies' personalities are really starting to show now. Up to this point, I got glimpses of their behavior--but not enough to know much about them. Now, I see three puppies playing together in one pile while others are busy exploring or eating. When I take them outside, they romp in excitement. It is too hot to leave them out during the day, so they are out in the morning for an hour or two and the same just before sunset. Their activity level has also greatly increased--they will run across the yard now. As always, they still spend much of their day sleeping and growing. Again, most of the puppies have gained over 1/2 a pound in just 3 days.
Doug: 6 lb 12 oz. (+ 1 lb 0 oz.)

Our Boy Puppies
Doug
Doug continues to be our explorer. He is playful and loves to fight his siblings. He is active and loves to wander when he is out in our big yard. At the same time, he is affectionate and enjoys spending time with us.
Megamind
Megamind and Mr. Incredible have slightly different reviews from my son and I. These two puppies are definitely behaving according to their activity schedules for us. For me, Megamind has been very relaxed and passive. He likes to be petted and has been mostly inactive when I was watching him. For my son, he is still relaxed and friendly, but he play fights with the others and enjoys his time outside.
Mr. Incredible
Mr. Incredible is active for me. He likes to wander around and explore. My son says that for him, he is relaxed and sleepy. He play fights with Megamind. He is our biggest boy puppy
Russell
Russell is the most friendly boy. He loves being held and will just curl up in your arms. He is becoming an explorer as well and he loves being outside. His most significant trait is his incredible love of being held.
Our Girl Puppies
Anna
Anna is our whitest puppy. She is incredibly cute and affectionate. She loves being held and petted. Along with Elsa, she is a bit smaller.
Elastogirl
Elastogirl is our most relaxed girl. She is cuddly and loves to be petted. She play fights with Elsa. She is our second biggest female.
Elsa
Elsa is our most active girl puppy, though she is cuddly and relaxed with us. She likes to play fight with Anna and Elastogirl. She is our smallest puppy--probably because she is so active.
Kevin
Kevin is one of my other active girl puppies. She play fights with Elsa and Doug. Her fur has a very slight coloration compared to the others. She also looks to have a very light coloration in her fur.
Roxanne Ritchie
Roxanne likes to explore and is quite active. She is very friendly and loves to be held and petted. She is our largest girl puppy. She is affectionate and loves being with people.
Week 4: Day 4
The puppies are looking really cute. They were able to spend some time out this morning but I am bringing them in once it gets hot--until they are a little older and more adjusted to temperature changes. They are continuing to grow really well with Mr. Incredible and Roxanne being our biggest male and female. They have started to play fight with each other and their personalities are beginning to become more evident. Of course, this is early, so much will change in the next few weeks. As you will see below, everyone has grown a lot in just a four days!
Doug: 5 lb 12 oz. (+ 1 lb 11 oz.)
Megamind: 5 lb 14 oz. (+ 1 lb 13 oz.) Mr. Incredible: 6 lb 8 oz. (+ 1 lb 3 oz.) Russell: 6 lb 0 oz. (+ 0 lb 15 oz.) |

Our Boy Puppies
Doug
Doug is my boy explorer. He is more independent and wants to learn his environment. He is comfortable wandering away from everyone else. He oves to play fights with anyone who is a willing partner.
Megamind
Megamind is cuddly with a streak of playful. He enjoys being held and petted but then will want to play fight with you. He and Russell are both very relaxed when they are being bathed and dried.
Mr. Incredible
Mr. Incredible is both affectionate and playful. He is an active puppy, but will still spend time with you. He is our largest puppy with a beautiful face.
Russell
Russell is my most relaxed and friendly boy. He enjoys cuddling and spending time with you. He just laid on his back while being dried by my son--even when he wasn't being held. He definitely loves human attention. Russell play fights with Elastogirl.
Our Girl Puppies
Anna
Anna is a sweetheart that loves to cuddle. She is active and explores but prefers to be with you. She had a grass seed in her eye and is recovering well after having the vet remove it. Appropriately, Anna play fights with Elsa--though it was mostly Anna.
Elastogirl
Elastogirl is very relaxed though she does play fight with Doug and Mr. Incredible. She is a sweetheart that likes to lay on you.
Elsa
Elsa is my most explorative puppy at this point. She is independent and likes to discover her environment. She is active and play fights with Doug. When with us, she is relaxed and friendly.
Kevin
Kevin is affectionate and loves to put his head on your leg and sleep. He enjoys having his back petted and being close to you. She likes to be with her litter mates and her humans.
Roxanne Ritchie
Roxanne is another sweetie who loves to be with you. She is a bit more independent than Kevin at this point but both are real affectionate. She play fights with Doug. She has a sweet face and demeanor.
Week 4: Day 1
Our puppies got to have their first hour outside yesterday. The weather was warm and dry and they loved it! It is always neat to be able to see them adjusting to a new environment. Some of them go exploring and others come for snuggling. Unfortunately, today they have to stay inside, since we have rain. I also gave them their first full bath and shampoo today. They were excellent and seemed to enjoy the process.
The weights for the puppies are as follows:

Week 3: Day 4
All but one of our boys have already gotten new homes and it is not surprising since these are such beautiful puppies. They continue to grow well and now eat solid food regularly. It is cute to see them fall asleep while eating, though it does mean that they are quite stained from their puppy food. Next week they will get their first full baths. I normally enjoy that process because it helps me to see how they respond to both me and a new experience. The puppies will be able to go outside when they turn four weeks since they are so big, so long as our weather allows it. Also, starting next week, I will give their weights. Hope you enjoy the new pictures.

Week 3: Day 1
Our Boy Puppies
The puppies turned 3 weeks old today and are they beautiful! They are eating solid food now, so some of them are stained. I will begin giving them baths next week so for this week, expect a little browning on their faces and paws from their food. They are definitely getting a little bit of their personalities--not enough for me to make individual comments yet, but I am seeing some differences between them. Some are content to sit with me while others are bent on exploring when they are awake. And they still sleep most of the time, which is a sign that they are contented and full.

Week 2: Day 4
The puppies have changed a lot this past week. First, they all walk now (as of the last 3 days). Because of that, they are eating solid foods as well as nursing. You will see one picture where a boy puppy has food on its neck from laying in the food bowl and all of the boy puppies were eating when we took pictures. It is so cute to watch them walk around like big dogs. I have even heard one of them give a big dog bark.
Finally, they will be done with their neurological stimulation tonight--it is a good thing because they are hard to track now that they move around so much. My son has to corral the puppies that I have done so that I don't redo one. You will notice that there are more pictures this time--it is because they can hold their heads up so that I can get better pictures now. On Friday, I hope to put their names on them and then I will take pictures of each puppy.

Week 1: Day 5
The puppies opened their eyes for the first time yesterday. They are continuing to grow really quickly and are all doing well. They still spend most of their time sleeping but they do move around a lot more. They are not yet walking but they are scooting around and can move several feet in this way. Of course, they are wonderful to hold and cuddle.
Week 1: Day 2
The puppies are doing incredibly well! They are all plump and crawl around. There skin has turned dark colored now and they look really cute. It is fun to see them sleeping in clumps of 4 and 5 now that they don't have to be nursing all of the time. Their neurological stimulation is going well--they seem to be a more relaxed group compared to Orcrist's other puppies.
Day 4
Orcrist continues to be the most spectacular mother and her puppies are doing great. There are 5 girls and 4 boys (my initial check was correct). All of them are eating well and they crawl around quickly. Their dew claws were removed yesterday. They handled it as well as any group I have ever had. The puppies spend a lot of their day sleeping--which is a really good sign that they are completely satisfied. You will see from the pictures that they no longer have wrinkles--they have filled that in with a nice layer of fat. Their skin has just begun to change colors so you will see a lot of pink and black on them now. Also, they have begun their neurological stimulation. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Day 1
Orcrist gave birth to 9 beautiful, active puppies today. She is doing well and is extremely happy (the pictures really do catch her in her proud mamma smile). These are good sized puppies. For right now they have the pink skin. You can expect that the day 4 or 5 pictures will catch the change from pink to black. Already, Orcrist is demonstrating why she is the master mommy. She has had all nine puppies lined up and nursing--something that none of my other females have ever been able to do. I think there are 4 boys and 5 girls. I will give you a more certain count when they are just a little older. Hope you enjoy the first pictures!
