My son says that we have 5 puppies with identical personalities and he is mostly right. These are all loving, intelligent, active, sweet puppies that are very much like their mother (my favorite dog). They love to play with toys and balls and will carry them around as conquered prey. The puppies are at a very playful stage and will play fight for long periods now. This litter is also as good as they can get at crate training. They have never had a single accident and are now up to the full 8 hours. As soon as I open the crate in the morning they will find their potty spot and go, which is exactly the point of crate training.

The puppies are beginning to be more independent when taken out of their pen. They love exploring our home and are trying to climb the stairs. We introduced their take-home toys today and they loved jumping and romping with them. They will be well loved and smell like the litter when they are taken home. Today was the first day they splashed and tried to jump out of the bath. They love sitting in laps and would rather be with us than their toys.

The results for the test are on the link beside here. Overall, the puppies were very consistent. They are responsive, comfortable with these experiences, and on pace developmentally.

The puppies continue to do well and are very sweet and loving. They are a playful and active group that are very intelligent. They love to explore and want to know their environments. I will be posting the results of the personality test later today (evening). This group loves my cat and my cat loves them. Several videos were interrupted by a cat that decided he needed to be center stage but it is awesome to have him interact with my puppies for their sake. Enjoy the videos!

These puppies love to explore. They are active, intelligent and cute. Orcrist is my most intelligent mother so it seems that her puppies have taken after her. They are also loving and full of personality. Compared to other groups, they are on the high end for active/intelligent and will make good service dogs and great pets when trained. Candy Corn and Caramel Apple's pictures were challenging this round. Our cat spent his time loving them and rubbing them so the pictures are the few where the cat did not block my view. This is a fun group!

The puppies are all growing really well. They are smart and active. They already have lots of personality compared to the relaxed litters that I sometimes have. Conditioning is amazing. All of the puppies love sour cream and have already accepted the handling as normal. They are so in love with me because of this activity. I would highly recommend that you give your puppy sour cream shortly after you get him/her to help them bond with you, they way they bond with me Weights and pictures are below. The puppies are continuing to grow well. They will begin to eat solid food and drink water to supplement their diet this week. They are walking around a lot now so I can find them anywhere in their room--even away from Orcrist. Our little puppy has gotten over her illness. It slowed down her growth for almost a week, but she is making progress again. I still will wait until I am certain that she is healthy to make her available. This is a big week for the puppies. They just finished their neurological stimulation and tomorrow we start with conditioning. The purpose of conditioning is to get the puppies accustomed to many activities that can occur later in life--and to like the activity because it is associated with a treat. To do that, I do six activities and follow them with sour cream, which is irresistible for a puppy. The six activities are: 1) pull their tail 2) rub their fur both ways 3) pull on their ears 4) hold their muzzle 5) swipe the inside of their mouths and 6) pinch between their toes. As you can see, the first three are to help them adjust to little children and the last three are to help them at the vet. Enjoy the pictures. All is well with the puppies. They spend a lot of time sleeping with full bellies. They are moving around well now and their eyes are open. It is amazing how fast they change. They are starting to look like beautiful little puppies. Based on their neurological stimulation, these will be active puppies, like their mother. As a note, the little puppy seems to have a chest cold and I will be taking her to the vet as soon as possible.

The puppies are so cute! They are starting to move around quite a bit now. They still spend most of the their time sleeping and are very content with full bellies. Orcrist is doing a great job with them.

Week 0 Day 5
The puppies are growing and getting very plump. Orcrist continues to be very happy as mother. She loves tending to her little ones and is spectacular at it. The puppies skin has changed from pink to black and their ears are also getting the tint of black skin underneath. I will have pictures posted shortly.
Week 0 Day 4
We had the unfortunate loss of our little puppy today. Orcrist and I (and my wife) have been fighting for her for the past several days but she was never able to nurse consistently and seemed to have internal issues. Orcrist was so sweet and attentive. She never left her puppies except to go to the bathroom and eat until today. The other puppies are all growing as they should. They have their dew claws removed, are moving around well and are changing colors. They are very cute. I will try to post pictures tomorrow.
Week 0 Day 1
Orcrist had 6 puppies today--4 girls and 2 boys. All of them are nursing and seem to be doing well. One is smaller, so I will be on careful watch to make sure she gets to eat every time. Orcrist is doing fantastic and already has them all lined up and nursing--making my life so much easier! The pictures of Orcrist and her puppies are so precious. She is so obviously proud and thrilled to be a mother!
