Pebbles is a sweet girl who absolutely loves to be held and cuddled. She likes to explore and has a fantastic personality! FYI, the splotch of color on her back is from her playing outside.

The puppies have all had their shots, been microchipped, are up-to-date on deworming, and are just waiting for their vet health check this Friday. This is my last post for the adopted puppies. Thanks for letting me have the privilege of sharing these videos, pictures, and posts with you. They have been such a loving, beautiful group!

February 29: 5 Weeks 1 Day
Naming and picture day! These puppies are super cute. They have rich, thick coats and nice wide faces. These pictures were caught during their naptime so a couple of them didn’t walk towards me. That said, you can still see what they look like and they are beautiful. They are a very calm group and love being held. On my next post (Saturday or Sunday), I will give some individual information.

February 28: 4 Weeks 7 Days
I apologise that there have been no pictures or updates this week. My son and daughter-in-law had twins yesterday and they have been the priority. All of the puppies are doing great. I have named them after the Flintstones: Fred, Barney, Wilma, Betty, and Pebbles. They are looking super cute. Hopefully, I will have some time tomorrow to get pictures of each puppy.
February 21: 3 Weeks 7 Days
It’s been a big week for Anelace’s puppies. They have started to walk and are also eating solid food now. They are super cute. I spend a lot of time with them and they are very friendly. I took advantage of the nice weather and gave them a little time outside. They loved it!
February 18: 3 Weeks 4 Days
The puppies are finally starting to walk. They still don’t have to do that very much because they’re so well fed. They have also been introduced to solid food and I have begun the conditioning. This consists of six steps followed by sour cream at each one. I begin it very lightly so that they get used to it and eventually are “conditioned” to these activities.
February 15: 3 Weeks 1 Day
The puppies are still spending most of the time sleeping. They have a lot of milk and are growing very large, quickly. Because they’re not very active, they haven’t developed their leg muscles fully yet so they’re still mostly crawling around. Later today I will start conditioning with this group. I will describe it more fully on my next post.
February 11: 2 Weeks 4 Days
Today is the last day of neurological stimulation. It always amazes me how hard it is to do at this point because they are so big. They have become completely relaxed resting upside down in my hands though they still don’t like the hanging upside down position. They are crawling around a lot now and I will find several groups in their pen. Anelace goes to each of them to feed them now. Sometimes I will put them together so they can all nurse. They’re looking super cute but will get even cuter in the next week.
February 8: 2 Weeks 1 Day
The puppies are doing great. They are crawling around quite a bit now. Their eyes have a sleep but they don’t use them much yet. They spend a lot of time sleeping right now. Neurological stimulation has been going well.
February 4: 1 Week 3 Days
Anelace’s puppies have been doing great. She finally has enough milk for her five puppies. They now spend a lot of time sleeping in the cutest positions. They are very content and relaxed most of the day now. They can crawl to their mother so that helps out a lot.
January 28: 0 Weeks 4 Days
As you will notice, Anelace lost several puppies. Her milk came in but it wasn’t enough to support all her puppies and while I marked each puppy when I was feeding them, I couldn’t do so when they were nursing. Hopefully she can keep the rest going. They are all nursing and strong, so this should just be a function of Anelace having enough milk.
January 27: 0 Weeks 3 Days
The puppies have been doing better. I had to feed them for the first 12 hours but after that they’ve been entirely nursing. All of the puppies are nursing but a couple are not quite as good so hopefully we can catch them up as well. Anelace has been doing a great job of caring for them, except for one time where she laid down on a puppy, which is why we lost one puppy.
January 25-Puppies Born
Anelace had 11 puppies today. She showed signs that she was going to deliver yesterday but did not so I took her to the vet today and she had a Caesarean delivery. All of her puppies are good sized. However, she has not gotten her milk yet so I am having to use replacer for right now. That has spurred their interest in nursing so hopefully that will get her milk to come in quickly.
