Week 10
The two puppies have really grown the past two weeks. It is incredible how fast they begin to put on weight and height after 6 weeks. These two are incredible smart and easy to train. I take them outside most days now and they follow me to their 1 acre pen. I love that I don't have to carry them anymore. They know their routine and are completely comfortable with going outside in the morning, visiting playing with my son, daughter, and I for a little bit throughout the day and then coming inside each evening. They have been spending more time with my bigger dogs too. All of them play together and it is neat to see how the older dogs gently play with these little ones. The videos below are short because of my internet speed.
This next video gives a good picture of them playing with my son. However, I spoke in error when I said that the bigger dog was from the same litter--obviously she is not. She is from the same parents, but their previous litter. I love including her in this so that you can see what these puppies will grow up to look like. She is an absolute doll and after training her this summer I plan on showing her.

Week 8
The puppies are at/going to their new homes this week. I delivered four puppies to the Saint Louis area this morning. It is such a delight to see them in their new homes and happy. I still have two available and have a new set of pictures below. Prince Charming is living up to his name--he is elegant and inquisitive. He is our explorer puppy. He loves to see what is around every corner when inside and behind the trees when outside. Prince Eric continues to be my son's playmate. He loves to play and frisk. He is also good with sitting on your lap and cuddling. I have two short (2 to 3 second videos) that I was able to get up. My internet is slow so that is about my limit. Hope you enjoy them.

Videos are facing the wrong way--but you can get a good sense of their looks and temperaments. Next time, I will get videos facing the correct way! Hopefully the video is still worth watching.

Week 6
As you can see, we did their temperament testing!! Take a look. This will help you select your puppy, see what they might be like in the future, or give you a great general idea of a English Cream's temperament.

Most of the puppies will be selected today or tomorrow. This is an exciting time for me--I get to see which puppies will go to the various homes. For the puppies, week 6 has been about growing and exploring. The weather has been warm and dry so they have been able to spend several long periods outdoors this week. They absolutely love it! When I put them out this morning, they instantly starting running. The pictures this week were mostly easy to take. A couple of the puppies have already become so friendly and active that when I put them down, they immediately start walking/running toward me--making their pictures blurry. At least one puppy (Wesley) had mostly blurred pictures because of this. I love his personality! Wesley got a good long belly scratch as a bonus--but I got very few clear pictures of him to work with--mostly face shots.

Week 5
The puppies are definitely getting their personalities. They now explore everything and I can't leave any gates open to where I don't want them going or they will be into mischief. They have also developed and equal affection for human attention to their own mother. I always find that the most amazing thing--they adore me and my son.

Week 4
These are the best week 4 pictures that I have ever taken. You will notice that there are more pictures of a few puppies. I have a second photographer taking some photos as well so her pictures are "extra" for those puppies and invariably, one puppy has mostly blurry pictures so I have few to chose from. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed taking and posting them.

Another astounding week! They are moving around everywhere now so they got to have their first big adventure outside. It was so fun to lay on the ground and have them all fall asleep next to me. I took a few pictures when they first got out there--exploring in the tall grass. I gave them their names and collars so I will be able to put up individual pictures now. That should happen in the next two days. There names are from fairy tales (in pairs). I have a Snow White and a Prince Charming; Rapunzel and Flynn Rider; The Princess Buttercup and Wesley; and Ariel and Prince Eric. Oh, and they turned incredibly cute too!
Week 3
This week they have begun to crawl, eat solid food, and show just a bit of their personalities. They are so relaxed as we sit with them in our laps. The new food is taking a lot of their energy and they spend a lot more of their day sleeping--which is good because they are growing so fast. You will see several sleeping puppy pictures this week!
Week 2
They are so content! Orcrist is such a good mother and her puppies are showing that their mommy loves them. They opened their eyes on day 13 for the first time. They still have their squinting eyes for their pictures this week.
Week 1
Day 6: The puppies have had 3 days of neurological stimulation. They are doing really well and behave as they are supposed to. They are really growing fast and getting chubby.
Day 3: Dew claws are removed. Puppies are doing great and growing fast. They are just beginning to get their black skin. It is always so cute to see them with little splotches of black intermixed with the pink skin.
