Week 7
This week the puppies activity level has hit full stride. They jump, they play, they run and have fun. They have also gotten an opportunity to spend a whole day outside and they loved it! Also, they have been going through crate training. The first two days they spent just under 7 hours in the crates and there were only 2 accidents. On the third day, there were no accidents at all and they spent over 7 hours in the crates. That should help make house training a lot easier.

Week 6
All of the puppies now have new homes and are just waiting to get there. Their activity level increased so much this week. They still sleep a lot but now they are spending even more time playing with each other. It was so cute to watch one puppy whining outside of the crate because I had put his playmate inside.

Week 5
This week they became ridiculously cute! They have a much more distinct personality now and spend more time play fighting with each other. They are still nursing but get most of their food from their dog food. You will see this in a couple of pictures where they have a little temporary stain on their faces that I did not see before I was cropping and re-sizing the pictures. Again, as a reminder, good pictures or poor pictures are not always a complete indication of what a puppy looks like. This week, Skittles and Peppermint Patty got 7 and 6 pictures because they were more clear. All the rest have 5 pictures.
Hershey
Adopted by Eddie and Brandy C.
Hershey is one the biggest puppies and is one of the more dominant puppies. He loves to fight Starburst and Skittles. He has a cute little bark. As the pictures will show, he has a blocky head and body.
Mars
Adopted by Peter S.
Mars weighs as much as Hershey though he has a little less length. He is very stocky and has a blocky head. Mars is also a dominant puppy though he likes to play with everyone.
Snickers
Adopted by Kara K.
Snickers is about the size of Hershey except a little longer. As the other boys, he is blocky and well built. He loves to play but is not a dominant puppy.
Peppermint Patty
Adopted by Janet W.
Peppermint Patty has a very cute face. She plays but does not fight with any of the puppies. She has a very sweet and friendly personality.
Skittles
Adopted by Brian A.
Skittles is fairly long and nicely proportioned. She plays with Hershey. She is also very loving and affectionate.
Starburst
Adopted by Hugh C.
Starburst is the longest puppy (at this point) and is a dominant puppy as well. She loves to play fight with Hershey and Mars. She is still my son's favorite puppy and along with Hershey and Peppermint Patty works to get his attention first. She is one of the most active of this group.
Tootsie Roll
Adopted by Don B.
Tootsie Roll is still the smallest puppy but she oozes with personality. She is very friendly and accustomed to being held. She plays with Skittles and is very active.
Week 4
During week 4, the puppies have all started to walk, jog and play together. They are beginning to show their personalities. All of them are incredibly affectionate and want to be with people. We spent more time with this litter (I was off for the summer) and it is showing in how they come up to me and others. Definitely sweet hearts. They still sleep most of the time, which will show in their pictures. I got them up from a nap and brought them into a nice warm room where they proceeded to fall asleep! So cute!
They have all received their name tags so now their pictures will go up on their own. All three boys are very similar and look to be big and blocky. The girls are different from the boys and different from each other. Tootsie Roll is smaller and very fine featured. Starburst and Skittles and longer and have a medium sized frame. Peppermint Patty is not quite as long as Starburst and Skittles but she is more plump. The pictures from any one week will not always show off these features so I will keep you posted for any changes--and they do change very rapidly!

Week 3
They have doubled again! They are now eating solid food, though they definitely prefer their mother. They have also begun walking on all fours. It is so cute to see them walking like they are big dogs. And that means that they are play fighting too. It is absolutely incredible how quickly they change. We have given them names but they won't show up this week in their pictures--next week they will have name tags and individual pictures. The names for the boys are Snickers, Hershey, and Mars. The girls names are Peppermint Patty, Starburst, Skittles, and Tootsie Roll. Some kind of theme in there! I hope you enjoy the pictures.
Week 2
Wow! I can't believe it has been another week. The puppies are probably about 4 times as big now as at the end of week 1. They are crawling around (rather wobbly) and their eyes are just beginning to peek open. They are getting even cuter, which always seems to happen. These guys just love to nuzzle up to you and go to sleep--which is how they spend most of their day. Eat, sleep, crawl for 2 minutes and do it again in 2 hours.
Week 1
The puppies were born June 26th. These puppies are so gorgeous. They were born into the world early in the morning! We are so excited to care for them until they are adopted to their wonderful new homes! There are 4 beautiful females and 3 rambunctious males. Their dewclaws are removed. This is always sad--but so helpful later on. I apologize that day 3 and day 7 are together--my week was very busy caring for the puppies and then my internet went down for 3 days. Here are the pictures from all of those important days. For day 7 pictures, male puppies have a purple background and female puppies have a yellow background.
